Pre-Order Payment & Cancellation Policy

How Pre-Orders Work

When you place a pre-order with Kate's Kreations RGV, you're reserving a custom design that will be specially made for you. Here's what to expect:

Payment Schedule

• 30% deposit due at time of order – This reserves your spot and allows me to order your fabric
• Remaining 70% balance due within 7 days of completion notification – You'll receive an invoice via email when your hats are ready to ship

Timeline

• Production time: 8–12 weeks from the date fabric is ordered (1st of every month)
• Balance notification: You'll receive an email as soon as your order is complete with payment instructions
• Shipping: Orders ship within 2–3 business days after final payment is received

Cancellation & Refund Policy

I understand that plans change! Here's how cancellations work depending on timing:

Before Fabric Is Ordered

• Full refund
  

After Fabric Is Ordered (But Before Production)

• 50% refund of your deposit
• Remaining 50% covers fabric costs already incurred

After Production Is Complete

• No refund available – fabric has been purchased and hats have been made specifically for your order
• Alternative option: Your deposit can be converted to store credit (no expiration) for a future purchase

Late Payment Policy

I want to make sure you receive your order as quickly as possible! Here's what happens if final payment isn't received on time:

• 7 days after invoice date: Automatic reminder email sent
• 14 days after invoice date: Final notice sent
• 21 days after invoice date: Order will be canceled and listed for general sale
  • Your 30% deposit will be converted to store credit (no expiration)
  • No refund will be issued, as fabric and production costs have already been incurred

As a small business, I purchase fabric specifically for your order and dedicate production time to create your custom hats. These policies help me:
